The Create Segment Set page, located under the Modelling menu, allows you to divide all sections of your network into segments of a defined length.
The primary use of the Create Segment Set feature is as a first step to creating a new Forward Works Programme (FWP), to which you can join data (using the Data Join functionality) and assign treatments (automatically using the modelling functionality or manually using treatment change functionality).
You can also download the segments to Excel for further analysis outside of JunoViewer.
If your network is set up as lane-specific, you can use the feature to create lane specific segments, which means segments of the defined length will be created for each lane segment.

- The tables below shows the difference in results when the Rounding and Joining checkboxes are selected when dividing a 705m section (with a start location of 345 and an end location of 1050) up into 100m segments:
