This post is part of a series of posts titled Getting Started with the FIT and will guide you through setting up your FIT, using your FIT, and troubleshooting in your FIT. Click here to view an overview of the series.

3.1. Select your Offline Database and Sign In

When you open the Field Inspection Tool (FIT) on your device (via the .exe in the JunoViewer-FieldInspectionTool folder), you will be directed to a landing page where you can select your offline database (i.e .db3 file).

After selecting your database, you will need enter your JunoViewer username and password to sign in.

Once signed in you will be directed to the home page, from where you can access the FIT modules available in your account, synchronise changes made during your field inspection, or select a new database.

Notes:
  • Your organisation may prefer to deploy applications, such as the FIT, via the IT Department, rather than enabling individual staff to download applications to your device. In this case, please contact Lonrix Support to discuss.

3.2 Clearing your FIT Settings

If you have downloaded a new version of the FIT to replacing the existing version on your device, you should delete the FIT settings .xml file from your device. Deleting the old settings ensures new features, improvements, and bug fixes in the new version will run as intended. Follow the image below to find and delete your FIT settings.
