This post is part of a series of posts titled Your Data in Your Database, guiding you through adding, viewing, updating, deleting, and exporting data tables and their data within your JunoViewer database. Click here to view an overview of the series.
This help post will guide you through adding and updating the data in your JunoViewer tables. The Add Data page (under the Data menu) provides the functionality for both via your Data Import template, and the Update Data page (also under the Data menu) enables you to update existing values in your tables via SQL queries.
5.1 Add Data page
Once your Data Import template is uploaded to JunoViewer, go to the Manage < Update Data page. In the page you can select to either append data to the table or replace the existing data in the table for the specified networks. When adding data to a table for the first time, either option will work.
The image below highlights the main features of the page and provides details of the import process.
Notes:
- Ensure you upload the data file before you try to add the data
5.2 Update Data page
The Update Data page enables you to update values in your tables using SQL Update queries. We recommend only those with a working knowledge of SQL use this feature, and encourage you to contact Lonrix Support if you required assistance.
