JunoViewer's Trigger Model Analyzer is a powerful tool to test and debug your deterioration model. Details of how to use the Trigger Model Analyzer can be found here.
Sometimes, you may find an anomaly or bug in your model that is simply too difficult to track down. In such a case, the advanced model debugging feature allows you to peek at a specific value of your DMS for a specific model segment. Because this feature may slow down your model runs, it is disabled by default, and to use this feature you need to work with Lonrix support to set it up for you.
Note: this feature is also used to switch on the output of a full strategy set export for BCA models (see figure below)
So before you decide to use Advanced Model Debugging, please see if you can resolve your problem using the Trigger Model Analyzer. If you have already tried that, you may want to resort to advanced debugging. To do this, please get in touch with Lonrix and give them these details:
- Area name for the segment that you want to use for debugging (you can choose only one at a time)
- Start and end year to use for debugging (in calendar years)
- Details of the cell or cells in your DMS that you want to track (either the sheet name and address, or the cell Name)
Once you have provided these details to Lonrix, we will set up the needed XML configuration for you on the back-end. This may take an hour or two to complete. Once we make this live, you will see the details in the logs of your next model run. (Please remember to ask Lonrix to de-activate this setup once you have tracked down that anomaly)
