There are two views in which you can validate your Forward Works Programme (FWP) in the Field Inspection Tool (FIT):
  • Strip Map View
  • Grid View
The images and details below will cover both views and the major features therein, most of which are common to both.


Strip Map View





Strip Settings





The lists below detail the fields required for the respective strip type:


Data Parameter Strip
  • Data Parameter Name: Name of a data parameter. Rut in LWP
  • Statistic: A valid statistic. 90th Percentile

Data Segment Strip
  • Title: Name of the strip. Crashes
  • Statistic: A valid statistic. Number of Obs.
  • Table Name: Name of the table in JunoViewer where the data is stored. Crash
  • Column Name: Name of the column in the above table. ID
  • Aggregation Length: The length to which the data will be aggregated (i.e. the length of each strip block). 200
  • Number of Years: Number of years to go back from which to retrieve data (e.g. 3 years maintenance). 3

Non-Aggregated Strip
  • Title: Name of the strip. Surface Type
  • Table Name: Name of the table in JunoViewer where the data is stored. surfacingTop
  • Column Name/s to Display: The column or columns (comma separated) from which you want the values to be displayed in each strip block. surfMaterial
  • Order By: The column to be filtered on to determine which record takes precedence if overlapping records exist in the selected table. locFrom
  • Order On: The order to be applied to the orderBy column. Ascending or Descending
  • Number of Year: Number of years to go back from which to retrieve data (e.g. 3 years maintenance). 3
